Each pass type is consecutive days. So, the 7 Day Pass, if activated on Monday will expire the following Sunday, regardless of the number of trips used.

Where to Buy a MoGo Transit Card

On The Bus

Passengers can purchase the MoGo Transit Card with cash on the bus. Pass types available for on the bus purchase are Daily Pass, 7 Day Pass and up to $20 "Best Fare" cash. Since the MoGo Transit Card is reuseable, these passes and cash value can be reloaded on the bus as well. There is a charge of $1 for the initial card activation.

7 Day Adult Passes can be purchased at the following locations for $16 (includes $1 activiation fee):

    MCTA, 134 MCTA Dr., Swiftwater (all pass types sold during normal business hours)
    Career Link, Merchants Plaza, Rt. 611, Tannersville
    RSVP, 411 Main St., Stroudsburg
    Penn National Bank, Rt. 209, Brodheadsville
    JBirds, Crystal St., East Stroudburg

Student Passes are available at the following locations for the Spring 2015 Semester. Proof of current enrollment at the institution is required.


Don't worry, tickets you already own (or purchase before July 1, 2014) will still be accepted after the launch of the MoGo Transit Card.

Senior Transit Pass

Seniors, age 65 or older can ride any Fixed Route FREE with a Senior Transit Pass. Call 570-839-6282 x434 to request an application or download your application below. The application must be completed, signed and returned by mail with a photocopy of an accepted age verification ID. Please remit to:

You will receive your pass in the mail. Simply present your pass to the driver when boarding.

Half Fare for Riders with Disabilities

The Symbol of Accessibility

The Half Fare for Persons with Disabilities Program is to assist qualified persons with their fixed route transportation needs at a reduced fare. To use the program, you must present either a Medicare Card or Reduced Fare Identification Card along with a photo ID to the driver when boarding. If you are disabled, but do not have a Medicare Card, you may request an application by calling 570-839-6282 x434 or download your application below. The application must be completed and signed by both you and your health care provider and returned by mail. Please remit to:

Please note, only original documentation will be accepted. You will receive your Reduced Fare Identification Card in the mail in approximately 14 business days.

In instances where persons are not physically able to access the fixed route and live 3/4 of a mile from the fixed route service, they may be provided door - to - door service if determined eligible through an evaluation by an MCTA provided physician. Please remit to:
