The Planning Starts Here.....

AT the MCTA; "Pocono Pony," we have a board, composed of eight committed volunteers. The board typically meets on the last Thursday of every month in the board room at Monroe County Transit Authority. Members of the board and management diligently discus current transit topics in an effort to strategically plan future transit initiatives in the best interest of the public.

Our Board Chairman, Roland Featherman, has been involved with the Transit Authority since its inception and the early planning stages of 1979.

Feedback is always recognized as a vital component in establishing good customer relations. As a result, Monroe County Transit Authority; "Pocono Pony" invites the public to participate in their monthly board meetings.

Board meetings take place on the last Thursday of every month at 5:30 pm in the MCTA Board Room. Occasionally it becomes necessary to reschedule board meetings to another date. Please phone us at 570-839-6282 for inquiries to specific meeting dates and times.
